Built by the people who live up the valley

Feel Dominica began in 2009 as four guides sharing one minibus and a satellite phone. Today we are eighteen people — trail guides, boat captains, cooks, a botanist and two lodge families — all living between Roseau and the Kalinago Territory.

We keep groups to eight, pay our guides above the island rate, and route every journey through businesses owned by Dominicans. After Maria we rebuilt trails before we rebuilt the website, and we would do it in that order again.

What we promise is modest: rain when it rains, honesty about the walk ahead, and a table worth lingering at afterwards.
